10.00 (excellent) A rather dark and gloomy anime, which you shouldn't watch if you don't like blood. The atmosphere of horror was preserved throughout the whole series and it was a real massacre at the end. Literally. I suppose that alomost half of the characters were killed (in quite an unpleasant manner, too). Everything was highly psychological and mysterious, including the protagonists, and the puzzling storyline was not resolved until the very end. Of course, the visual effects and the music also added to all the eeriness. The anime was definitely exciting to watch, following the steps of the hero and uncovering little by little the terrible truth behind all the tragedies happening in the show.

10.00 (excellent) An anime dealing with exorcism which is not a very original theme but it's definitelly worth watching. It provides a fresh perspective on the subject, and a lot of fun thanks to the (sometimes unbelievably) stupid hero Rin. The plot is exciting and deals with the idea of what would happen if Satan's son decided to kick his father's ass and became an exorcist. Since Rin is a demon, it isn't easy for him to fit in society, and especially not in the society of exorcists. Yet he is able to make new friends, who form a group of very likeable characters together. The show is missing a real ending and I really hope it will continue one day just like the manga does.

7.00 (above average) This is basically a harem anime. It tells the story of a young samurai living in the mountains who knows nothing about life in the city, but is told by his father to move there and live in his relatives' house. It turns out that the relatives are four pretty girls, who all develop a liking for the boy sooner or later. The series is full of humorous and awkward moments but nothing special really. If you like romance, ecchi, and a bit of comedy added to that, you might like this show.

8.00 (good) I expected this to be much darker since it was a story aboout demons. Uh, but with a rather stupid protagonist, a crazy demon lord in the backstage, and all those 'deadly serious' demons from Makai often acting as if they were on vacation in the human world, it was more a parody, I must say. It was mostly about fighting and getting stronger to prove who is the biggest badass around. It could definitelly have fewer episodes because some of the fighting scenes were riddiculously stretched. Anyway, what was probably the greatest plus for this series was that it was so funny and even absurd at times that I could not stop laughing. The characters were all likeable for one reason or another, especially when it turned out none of them was really so baddas as they were trying to be. Overall, it was quite a humorous anime with a reasonable ending - probably the only possible one for not ruining the main theme of the entire show.

10.00 (excellent) I actually started watching this series because of a tumblr post that caught my attention. I don't usually like romance but this was merged with fantasy and supernatural, and that made the whole anime much more interesting for me. I loved the animation, the story and the characters and laughed at all the funny dialogues and numerous typically embarrassing situations. The anime depicted the "eighth-grade syndrome" and everything it brings with it really well.

10.00 (excellent) Beautiful animation, visual effects and style of art. The plot and characters are extremely similar to those in Code Geass - the protagonist meets a mysterious girl, obtains a supernatural power and joins a resistance group fighting against the government. The characters don't evolve much, as many people complain, but I don't see that as a problem. Some characters simply are static. The main storyline is entwined with retrospective scenes from (not only) the hero's past, without which it would be impossible to understand. The whole anime was a bit predictable but I guess that the magnificent animation and quality music balanced the lack of thrill.

8.00 (good) Watched Hellsing Ultimate. Characters like spaghetti, googles always glowing in the night, grins going fom one ear to the other. An endless flow of blood, gore, war, and an exhibition of monsters. A bit too seinen for my taste but I can't ignore the presence of vampires and the accidental bishie Alucard.

9.00 (very good) Sooo, a short anime with only 13 episodes. The graphics and style of art were really amazing although the color combinations often looked unnatural to me. I must mention it was full of hot guys and a lot of shonen-ai allusions. Seriously, the ratio of men and women was like 10:1 (not that I'm complaining about that). The main characters were loveable (the hero also cute-ly stupid and naive) but their personalities were not very detailed. Also, there were several gaps in the plot and some things remained unexplained but I guess it's impossible to fit so much information and so many events in only 13 episodes. I hope we learn the missing stuff in the following season that has been announced and that the producers do something about the open ending of the first season.

10.00 (excellent) This is how I imagine a good anime. I'm addiced to demons and gothics so this series was totally my cup of tea. An interesting story with a slowly untangling plot and probably the best ending I could imagine for it. A skilled, sexy demon perfect at everything he does surely counts as a huuge plus, too. I liked almost all of the characters except for Alois and Claude from the second season - they were both weird and annoying, and Alois seemed quite mentally unstable to me. The anime is full of both tension and fun so the show doesn't lose anything of it's dark appeal but at the same time, all the negative parts like murders or intrigue aren't too depressive. The soundtrack was awesome as well.
